The 46-year-old music icon – who raised to fame in the early 2000s with hits like ‘I’m Like a Bird’ and ‘Maneater’ – took to Instagram on Sunday to showcase her radiant natural beauty.
Posing in a vibrant orange bikini, the singer delivered an empowering message to her 1.5 million followers.
“HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART. THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR,” she wrote, inspiring her followers to celebrate themselves and embrace individuality in the new year.
In her candid post, Nelly opened up about navigating the pressures of beauty standards in the public eye.

“This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way, while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self-love and genuine confidence from within,” she wrote.
She also shared her experience with online misinformation, explaining that she had taken legal action against those falsely claiming she used certain products or underwent cosmetic procedures.
Nelly made it crystal clear that her beauty routine is refreshingly simple and free of invasive enhancements. “I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides veneers on the top row of my teeth, quite recently,” she stated, adding that she’s never used face or lip fillers or injections.
Instead, she credited her youthful glow to an “old-school” skincare regimen she began at 20, guided by a trusted facialist.

As for her red carpet secrets, Nelly spilled the tea on a few clever beauty hacks:
- Hydration and Rest: “The day before photo shoots and red carpets, I drink a lot of water and sleep on my back.”
- Face Tape and Styling Tricks: “Sometimes on the red carpet or at photo shoots, my makeup artist uses face tape to give my eyes, skin, and makeup more lift.”
- Body Tape and Makeup Magic: “Body tape creates different silhouettes, and body makeup can sometimes be contoured to achieve a certain look.”
Nelly also emphasized that makeup artistry, good hairstyling, and the right undergarments work wonders. She proudly added that her photos were filter-free and credited her glow to nothing more than a spray tan.
While she opts for subtle enhancements, Nelly is unapologetic about embracing the realities of aging. “I have spider veins, and they remind me of my mom and aunties and life, so I think that’s why I haven’t parted with them so far,” she shared, celebrating the beauty of imperfection.

Her message for 2025 was simple yet powerful: “Express yourself freely, celebrate your individuality, and know that it’s perfectly OK to be OK with what you see in the mirror. And it’s also OK to want something different. We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs.”
Nelly’s raw honesty struck a chord with fans, who flooded her post with love and admiration.
“HATS OFF for this honest post!!! And respect for embracing your natural self and giving us a glimpse of such a genuine part of yourself. Authenticity has always been one of your greatest qualities,” one fan wrote.
Another chimed in: “The epitome of beauty and grace right here!!!! I love you and your story!!! Forever beleza!”
Her hairstylist added their voice to the chorus of support: “QUEEN. The QUEENIEST of QUEENS LOVE YOU and your spider veins FOREVER.”
“You are ONE of ONE!!! Forever our Queen. Love YOU,” another wrote.
And one fan put it perfectly when they commented: “Self love and self respect is the most beautiful glow a woman can emit.”
Nelly’s message is a reminder that beauty lies in authenticity. As one touching comment put it, “Keep it up, Nelly. You’re beautiful, that’s for sure.”
Here’s to a body-positive 2025 — led by the inspiring queen herself, Nelly Furtado!
People are calling on radio stations to stop playing ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’
People are calling on radio stations to stop playing the iconic Christmas hit ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’
The festive season is well and truly in full swing now and that means we’re blasting out those Christmas tunes to help get us in the mood.
From old classics like ‘White Christmas’ by Bing Crosby to modern hits like ‘Santa Tell Me’ by Ariana Grande, it is truly time for festive cheer when these songs start being played.
However, some people are now questioning whether some tunes should be banned altogether.
The first in line to be banished is an ultimate Christmas classic:‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’, written by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure and released all the way back in 1984.
The track came about as a charity benefit song consisting of big-name stars such as Sting, George Michael, Bono, and Boy George and at the time, aimed to raise money to aid the famine crisis in Ethiopia.
However, writer Indrajit Samarajiva broke down the song’s lyrics to explain why she believes the Christmas hit must be canceled.
Per her blog on Medium, Samarajiva called out the song for its “ignorant” and “racist” lyrics against the continent of Africa and its people, saying: “It’s not just that these lyrics haven’t aged well. They were never good at all.
“They take an ignorant and colonial attitude, more about making white people feel good than helping anyone,” she wrote.
With lyrics such as: ‘And there won’t be snow in Africa this Christmas time’ as well as ‘Where nothing ever grows. No rain or rivers flow Do they know it’s Christmas time at all? The greatest gift they’ll get this year is life (oooh).’

Not only did Samarajiva suggest that the lyrics generalize the whole of Africa as a continent, but it also forces people to pity the people living there.
“I mean, this is all wrong. It does snow in Africa, although not a lot,” she wrote in her blog. “Food does in fact grow on the continent, they do have water, and North Africa, as part of the Roman Empire, was celebrating Christmas centuries before England.”
She continued: “You can say it’s all a metaphor, but what does the metaphor communicate? That Africa is a desolate, dark place which white men have to get together and save?”
And it seems as though a lot of people agree with the perspective, with one user taking to X to write: “Heard Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ yet? Please listen to the lyrics carefully and then complain to your radio station/supermarket re: explicit racism & lack of Christmas spirit ‘thank God it’s them instead of you!'”
Another added: “I always thought that lyric was to echo back the thoughts that people have (but would never say out loud) when seeing people in places far away from them suffering…”
A third also pointed out: “I’m wondering why you haven’t banned bing crosbys all time seasonal classic white Christmas?”
However, not everyone agreed with the stance with some users urging people with this perspective to “get a life.”
Yikes.
Experts reveal which Christmas song is the ‘most dangerous’ to listen to while driving

Now it well and truly is the most wonderful time of the year. The weather outside is truly frightful, decorations have gone up, and we’re all feeling the festive vibes around us.
However, experts have recently warned against getting too caught up in the festive spirit with Christmas songs while you’re in a vehicle, as it could lead to some dangerous accidents.
Per the New York Post, the findings have been confirmed thanks to a study from the South China University Of Technology (SCUT), where researchers found songs with a fast pace or BPM (beats per minute) greater than 120 can encourage dangerous driving habits.

But why?
It’s because these types of spirited songs have psychological and cardiovascular effects that may increase the likelihood of bad driving habits that could lead to potential accidents on the road, as per the experts.
After evaluating a lengthy list of every popular classic Christmas tune, there was one tune that came out on top: 1950’s ‘Frosty The Snowman’.
The track, which was first recorded by Gene Autry – and later recreated by names such as Jimmy Durante and Bing Crosby – has been hailed as “the most dangerous” Christmas song to drive to because it ranges at 172 BPM, per Insuranceopedia.
And while it’s nearly impossible to avoid at this time of year, the second most dangerous song is none other than ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ by Mariah Carey.
Now, that’s a hard one not to jam out to in the car, but it comes in at a BPM of 150.
Number three is one of the most feel-good Christmas songs, ‘Feliz Navidad’, coming in at a BPM of 149, followed by the Jackson 5’s ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town’ and ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’ by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
“As the holiday season approaches, it’s important to recognize how music influences our driving habits. While festive tunes bring joy, some high-energy or distracting songs can impact our focus on the road,” Max Coupland, CEO of the insurance guidance website explained.
Other notable mentions included: ‘Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!’, ‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer’, ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day’, ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ and ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.’
So there we have it, folks!
When you find yourself ‘driving home for Christmas’, it might be best to keep the sing-a-longs for more safer locations, like at home.
Eyewatering amount Mariah Carey makes an hour from ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’
Mariah Carey makes an alarming amount of money each year, all from a song she first recorded in 1994.

One thing that comes with Christmas is an array of songs that help bring in the warm feeling of the season.
Everyone has their own favorite, but one festive song you are probably aware of is ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
Mariah Carey first recorded the song in 1994 and it was arguably one of the best things she’s ever done.
That song, without fail, is one of the biggest each year, and Mariah absolutely rakes it in every time.

In an interview with Billboard, Carey, now 55, shared her thoughts on the song’s enduring appeal: “When I wrote [it], I had absolutely no idea the impact the song would eventually have worldwide,” Mariah said.
“How could I? It was so early on in my career and most young artists, at that time, weren’t really making Christmas music at the onset of their careers.”
She revealed that the inspiration for the song came from deeply personal emotions:“When writing [it], I was tapping into a bittersweet mixture of longing and festiveness. I had grown up wishing I could have a functional family Christmas like the ones I saw on TV or in the movies, but truth is… that never happened!
“So, I wrote the song for the little girl in me filled with holiday spirit. The record really has brought me full circle, and I’m so full of gratitude that so many people enjoy it with me every year.”
But how much does she earn?

With its continued popularity, The Economist estimates the song earned $60 million in royalties between its release and 2017 – equating to approximately $2.6 million annually.
That’s pretty much $7,300 a day, or $304 an hour.
In 2021, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ hit another historic milestone by becoming the first holiday single to earn the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) Diamond Award, signifying 10 million sales and streams in the U.S.
Woman reveals her incredible OnlyFans income after just one year on platform
One of the most successful content creators on OnlyFans has recently revealed her earnings over the past year, and the figures are nothing short of astounding.
With an annual income of $43,477,695.01, Sophie Rain’s earnings not only dwarf those of many traditional professions but also surpass the annual earnings of several A-list Hollywood celebrities.

Rain shared her financial success on social media, highlighting that in one year, from November 28 last year to this year, she managed to earn what would take some top movie stars several projects to accumulate.
To put her earnings into perspective, a currency conversion notes it as £34,265,028.22. This amount, as noted by the Tribune, positions her ahead of Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone, who made $26 million last year, and Scarlett Johansson, who earned $20 million for her role in Black Widow.
The revelation of Rain’s earnings comes at a time when OnlyFans has been experiencing record revenues. According to Variety, the platform garnered a total of $6.63 billion (£5.22 billion) in payments during the fiscal year of 2023, with over 4.12 million content creators active on the site.

However, despite the platform’s success, the average payout to a content creator on OnlyFans is around $1,300 (£1,024) per year, showing the competitive and varied nature of earnings on the platform.
Sophie Rain’s success story is exceptional and not typical of the average OnlyFans content creator. While some like Rain are making fortunes, many others struggle to achieve financial success, highlighting the platform’s saturated market.
Rain’s earnings put her in the same financial realm as Hollywood stars like Matt Damon and Ryan Gosling, who both reportedly earned about $43 million last year, according to Yahoo. If Rain were in Hollywood, she would only be financially outpaced by giants such as Tom Cruise, Margot Robbie, and Adam Sandler.
The success of Rain on OnlyFans brings to light the changing dynamics of how people earn and the new possibilities the digital age offers. It prompts a reevaluation of traditional career paths like acting, suggesting that platforms like OnlyFans can be just as lucrative, if not more so, for individuals who succeed in them.
Rain expressed gratitude for her platform success, acknowledging how it has transformed her life financially and made her a very wealthy woman. Her story is a testament to the potential of new media platforms to rival traditional entertainment industries in terms of the financial opportunities they offer to creators worldwide.

The ‘Espresso’ singer, 25, has found herself trending on social media platforms like TikTok after fan-filmed videos from one of her recent concerts sparked a flurry of divided comments.
Per TMZ, the viral moment took place on Monday evening when Carpenter performed at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
The chart-topping pop star was performing her new single, ‘Juno’ – inspired by the 2007 movie of the same name.
Featuring the lyrics, “I know you want my touch for life/If you love me right, then who knows? I might let you make me Juno”, the song uses the movie title as a metaphor for pregnancy – and the singer’s strong infatuation with somebody she’s fallen for.
During recent performances, Carpenter has been treating crowds to a sexy pose while performing the track – usually when she sings the lyrics: “Wanna try out some freaky positions? Have you ever tried this one?”
But her most recent pose quickly blew up social media – as Carpenter got down on her knees, pulled her hair back, and used her microphone to simulate oral s*x.
Talk about putting on a show, right?
Well, when videos hit X (formerly Twitter), people had A LOT to say.
“Keep it classy,” one person sarcastically wrote. One X user added: “Everything’s so sexual for no reason nowadays”.
“Great example for her young fans,” another wrote.
Another critic tweeted: “This girl always overcompensates for lack of artistic substance by being vulgar and trashy.”
However, the moment has clearly gone down well with Carpenter’s fans, with supporters labeling her “iconic”, “unhinged”, and “awesome”.
Of course, this certainly isn’t the first time the singer has trended on social media.
Earlier this year, the Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday with a cake with a hilarious Leonardo DiCaprio meme.

The meme, featuring a selfie of DiCaprio with a caption reading, “Nooo don’t turn 25 your so sexy aha,” humorously references the actor’s past relationships with much younger partners.
She really is iconic! Anyways, I’m off to book tickets for her next show…
