A cringeworthy moment has done the rounds online after a man tried to mock a woman for wearing some band merchandise.
The video went viral on TikTok, with the woman looking visibly shocked by what she just experienced.
Music shirts are a huge part of fashion nowadays, adding to the wonder and confusion around this six-second clip, and the actions of the man in particular.
Spoiler alert – he was wrong.
She couldn’t believe it (TikTok/whatisrocknroll)
The woman was in a restaurant and had a look of disbelief written across her face, and wrote on the screen: “Guys, I was casually waiting for my food wearing my band’s merch and a guy came up and asked to name three songs.”
She wrote in the caption: “I don’t know how I should feel about this.”
That’s right, the woman was actually a part of the band, and was still put on the spot by a smug guy who thought he could catch her out.
Her name is Jo Cotrotsou, and she’s the lead vocalist ‘Bad Habits’, a Greek indie rock band that go by @whatisrocknroll on TikTok, as the clip garnered over two and a half million views as well.
Rocking a sleeveless black top that simply had ‘Bad Habits’ written across it, Jo could be seen giggling after the awkward encounter.
Even though the man had blatantly questioned the lead singer about songs for the band, she was able to brush it off and make the most of it through the viral clip.
Other members of the band include Ellie (Bass and vocals), Spiros (Guitar), Severin (Lead guitar) and Apostol (Drums).
Originally formed in Athens in late 2020, the group have over 14,000 followers on TikTok, specialising in Rock & Roll.
A lot of the viewers weren’t as easy-going as Jo (TikTok/whatisrocknroll)
As funny as the moment as for Jo, many people took to the comments to share what they thought of the encounter, as one said: “People actually do this irl?? That’s so embarrassing for them.”
Another added: “I hope he sees this and gets so embarrassed he never asks anyone to name 3 songs again.”
A third joked that she should have said: “‘Oh please you wouldn’t recognise the band if they’d be sitting in front of you’ followed by the most intense stare ever.”
A different user suggested: “You should name a song you are still working on, and when you release he JUST MAYBE has a really bad flashback,” while a fifth commented: “I would have said, ‘Which ones? The ones I wrote or just any song?'”
If he’s seen the video, he’s probably learnt to keep his mouth shut for next time.

A bad tattoo is very different to a bad haircut – you can’t just wait a few weeks for it to grow out.
Content creator Marie Armstrong says she holds back the tears when she sees the ‘world’s ugliest tattoo’ every day on her finger after having her original faded tattoo redone.
The Florida resident – known as @marieaarm on TikTok – has opened up about her recent tattoo regret, which gets worse every time she looks at it.
@marieaarm/TikTok
In a video that’s racked up over 100,000 views, Marie showed us the unique-looking tattoo on her index finger.
Good job it’s only a small one to be fair.
Now, the tattoo was supposed to be a half-peeled banana.
And when she got it done, there were no issues – the art-work looked exactly how she intended it to.
But as the banana started to fade, Marie was forced to get it re-done.
“You could not tell what it was. I didn’t even count it as a tattoo,” she explained.
“So when my boyfriend told me he had a tattoo appointment and that he was getting a tattoo done by this artist who’s really good.
@marieaarm/TikTok
“I was like, I’ll go with you and I’ll get my banana re-done.
“I show him a picture of right when I got the banana done the first time, and he goes ahead and starts free-handing, like, adding on the rest of the banana to what he can already see and sketching it.
“I didn’t really expect him to print [a] stencil because, like, you’d have to size it perfectly.
“So I’m like freehand, fine. You’re an artist, like, this is what you do, you know what you’re doing.”
However, the patch-up of the banana – quite clearly – went very wrong.
Now, instead of a fruit, it just looks like… well, it could honestly be anything on her finger.
“I look at it, and I am trying to not cry. Like, I know that these are stupid, silly, little, goofy tattoos and maybe to you, like, it doesn’t matter how the f**k they look, but I actually care,” she said.
Commenting on the viral clip, it seems that viewers were offering some words of encouragement, as one person write: “It’s honestly not that bad, i was expecting something awful!”
“It’s not as bad as I thought!” a second added.
“It looks like a sock puppet from the side lol it’s cute,” another thought.
An influencer managed to catch the awkward moment she had with an ‘entitled’ man while she was filming videos at the gym.
Madi Webb was filming herself carrying out a number of exercises at her gym in Los Angeles, California, US, when a man approached her and created the awkward exchange.
The social media influencer was going about her business when the man she described as ‘rude’ went up to her to comment on what she was doing.
She posted the viral video on TikTok, and captioned it ‘where tf did he find the audacity’, garnering over 2.5 million views.
The man came up to her in the video, and told Madi: “Your form’s good. I don’t know why you have to make these little videos. It’s kind of distracting from your workout. You’d probably get more out of it [if you stopped].”
Madi then hit back, saying: “See, I’m already getting a lot out of it, because I make so much money making these ‘little’ videos,” as she claims to earn anywhere between $10,000 (£7,800) and $35,000 (£28,300) per TikTok video.
The 25-year-old then put her middle finger up and mouthed an f-bomb at the man while he walked away as she ‘made him feel stupid’.
She had just joined the new gym, and chose not to become defensive when he made the comment, standing up against the ‘rude’ man, though she later found the situation ‘funny’.

Madi later explained: “I thought it was funny. I grabbed my phone to record him because he just sounded like an idiot. I already had my phone out recording so all I had to do was pull up the camera.
“He was entitled. I wanted to essentially make him feel stupid. If people are going to come up to belittle you then you might as well stand in your power and not allow that to happen,” she stated.
She theorised that it might have been an attempt at flirting, and was not impressed: “If he wanted my attention there are so many ways he could get it, he didn’t have to insult me in order to do so.”
“Women are so conditioned to think that’s flirting. I don’t think it’s flirting. I think it’s just rude. If he wanted to flirt with me there’s a million ways he could have done so,” she added.
“Instead he chose to put me down. Any man who needs to put down a woman in order to feel more masculine is not a man,
“I know that responding defensively is never going to turn out the way you would like it to. It essentially gives them more of an excuse to be an a*****e.
“He was embarrassed because I was not playing his game at all or getting offended by it or being defensive,” the influencer said.

Madi admitted that it’s not the first time she has been ‘belittled’ for her content, but is grateful for it all as she came ‘from nothing’ to living ‘in a penthouse in LA’.
The podcaster said: “I always get belittled for my videos. I have since the day I started social media. It’s jealousy in a way.
“The only difference between me and everyone else is that I’m not afraid to be seen trying. I never even posted the videos that I was filming in that gym. I was just practising for future gym content.”
She added: “I manage myself so everything that I earn is essentially self-earned. I’m more of an entrepreneur than an influencer.”
Some people in the comments section think it was a poor attempt at flirting, with one user saying: “Was this supposed to be a chat up line?”
Though, the majority of others think it was straight up rude, with a second user commenting: “Hahahha perfect response tho cuz he scattered quick!!”
Another put: “How did you think so fast on your feet I would have day dreamed about this response three days late.”
A woman thinks she is experiencing her own version of The Truman Show after ‘spotting her actual apartment’ on the telly.
New York comedian Stephanie D’Agostini (also known as Stef Dag) got seriously freaked out after realising that a TV crew may have once filmed inside of her flat.
When tuning into Couples Therapy, a Paramount+ reality series, the stand-up noticed some eerie similarities between the characters’ apartment and her own.

Taking to Instagram and TikTok, Stef shared a video to explain what was going on.
Appearing to be a little shook up in the clip, she said: “One of the couples from the show literally lived in my unit, in my building.”
Pointing at the screen, she added: “OK, this is the apartment.”
To further prove her point, Stef showed that the sticker on the electrical box in her home was the exact same as the one in the episode.

“Do we see that sticker? I mean…,” she added.
Also included in the show was three circular tiles near the shower, along with her fridge, which was in the same position.
A stunned-looking Stef said: “Don’t tell me we don’t live in The Truman Show.
“This is a glitch, there’s actually a glitch happening in The Matrix right now.”
For those unaware, The Truman Show came out in 1998 and was a comedy film starring Jim Carrey.
It follows a normal dude named Truman Burbank, who is completely unaware that his entire life is a staged reality TV show.
Well, Stef’s observations certainly divided the crowd, as one person commented: “Imagine how the person who put that sticker there years ago feels…they’re like ‘broooo my sticker is still there look!'”
“When you go to work the landlord records an episode for the show,” a second joked.
While a third penned: “I would react the same way when someone sent me clips of Law and Order or if I saw it somewhere of my apartment/complex in Manhattan.”
“They’re actually filming in your house when you’re gone,” a fourth quipped.
Although others also pointed out that the show could have been filmed in any apartment in her complex.
“It’s APARTMENT unit. All your neighbours have literally same unit with same stuff inside,” someone else said.
“Probably filmed in the same building. Most apartments building rooms are mirrored,” another added.
LADbible Group has contacted Paramount for a comment.
